I 40 camping

Going to be on I40 from Needles,Ca to Albuquerque,NM, any recommendation on RV/camping spots? I heard a lot of complaints about train noise in Williams.

All across that route you are going to have train tracks close to I-40.

If you can get a site, this is great.

no train noise, its not far off I40.

I'm not sure if the link works.

We have stayed at the KOA in Flagstaff, its in town and convenient for gas, food. you can hear the trains but, they didn't bother us. We would stay there again.

We've stayed here for several days. Nice park and facilities and pull thru's. http://meteorcrater.com/rv-park-overview/

The train noise in Williams is nothing! We have stayed there several times right in town at the Railside RV Ranch and the only train noise is from the tourist train and it never bothered us at all. Highly recommend that park!

The Grand Canyon Railway RV Park is excellent, and the noise is nothing to worry about. While there, take a day to ride the train to the canyon, a much better way to get there.

The RV Parks in Gallup have train and plane noise. THE USA RV park is ok if you like the noise.

Another vote for meteor crater. Also, santa fe skies north of Albuquerque.
