Hub caps dirty

Well, the hubcaps got dirty and I am nearing the time to buy new tires. So I am going to visit the dealer about a new truck tomorrow. The guy on the phone opened with an interesting offer, so I will go peak over the fence to see what's there.

I was thinking of overnighting some hub cap cleaner but then again I don't want to spoil your fun.

Stiles, that King Ranch looks brand new....nut I think I do see a little dirt on that front wheel there. Guess you just got the itch, eh? Good luck on your hunt. I just bought a new Mustang and was looking over the 2011 F-series at the dealer. Very N I C E trucks!!!

I washed and cleaned the 2008 and it is sparkly. Now I remember why I bought it. I like the truck. It will pullllll, but won't pass a fuel stop. After 66,000 miles it ain't gonna get better. On my best day, I can only get about 14 mpg. That 4:33 rear end is not the answer for me. The one I am looking at has a 3:55 RE, with 400 hp and 800 lbs of torque that seems to be sufficient, but it all depends on the deal.

A new truck is usually a wonderful thing ... maybe it would be cheaper to have a new set of gears put in that match your needs ... especially if you like the rest of your current truck. Just saying ...

I once sold a car because the tire pressure was getting low on three of the four.....

Wonder if I can get Camilla to buy the "dirty hub cap" notion as just cause to get one of those great new trucks???? Probably not, but good luck to you on your quest!

A very well thought out plan, and the reasoning is impeccably simple, Stiles. I did the same thing with our rig, we needed digital televisions since the 3400RL had the older analog models, so I decided to buy two new televisions that coincidentally came wrapped with a new rig!! (Kidding, but it sounds good, anyway!!). Are you sure the Big Sky doesn't need tires as well??? Ha Ha!!!

That is how we came to be new owners of a 2011 295RKD, went into the dealer to pickup a front decal for our 2008 Outback and while there went out looking at 5th wheels. Walked into the one we bought and the wife said she wanted this one!! Three weeks later.......
