Rich Maybe you don't do the FCRV Regional rally as we do. This next year it is in Wisconsin. Probably around the first week. We will not have much time home next year. Oh that is so hard to take spending all that time in the Montana

Here are my arguments for early August. It is still within the summer vacation time frame....School is still out. With the start of school many folks drop out because of school related issues.Jobs, Kids, Grandkids, etc..Can't worry about what the weather might be..It could be hot/humid, cold/rainy, stormy/windy..we have no control. Our experience has been...Find a campground that can handle the number of units, Set the dates, give folks plenty of lead time to work with their schedule for the time off.On a individual basis we can either make it..or not...If this is to happen in Aug/sept/Oct we need to find a campground by the first of the year..35 40 large units are a lot of units to attempt to gather in one group. Set these things up for our local camping group for a long time..It is not as easy as you may think...
Stll stand with this scenario although the longer we do not have a firm date for the national the harder it will be to get a good campground and for folks to plan ahead. Many of us are retired ..so am I ..however.many organizations require that vacation times be in by Jan/feb of the leave year..and once school starts familys with kids..and all M.O/C'ers are not old folks, will have a more difficult time going anywhere..

Yes it would be nice to have the dates now rather than in March sometime after we have all requested vacation time. Hopefully the powers that be will read this and start moving the right direction soon.

Any word on a national rally dates yet? I have to enter my vacation time soon and really want to attend. I am not very good at gambling and don't want to ask for time off and then not be able to attend. The rallies sound like you all have a lot of fun and interesting times with the Keystone people. If I missed the dates please forgive me. I may have missed the post stating the dates.
