well, like I haven't nuff songbirds to carve, I have started woodturning now! I have a small wood lathe that I can carry in the montana with the rest of my "stuff"! now I love woodturning just as much as wood carving. These little birdhouses sells like hotcakes to hungry lumberjacks !! they sometimes pull me out of the red into the black at shows. I turn them from all sorts of wood, such as black walnut,cedar, cherry, maple, ash, and any other wood I find in the woods and from friends...
