Riversend (Rivers End?) CG on Tybee Island is one of our favorites. Unfortunately since the city bought the campground they spiked their prices big time. So, our winters there are numbered. Tybee Island is next to Savannah.

It's a quarter mile walk to the Savannah River beach or a half mile walk or drive to the Atlantic Ocean beach.

Can't help you with Georgia, Jim, other than at one time we did a lot of research on Jekyll Island (ended up at Topsail in Destin, FL instead). By the way, miss your e-mails!! As always, blessings to you and yours. And by the way, I am doing a paper on Blood Covenant and need a couple of people to do an e-mail questionaire regarding their Church's or personal beliefs on the matter, would you or your wife be interested in helping me out??

Jim,
You might look at Fort Clinch State Park in Fernandina Beach. This is in northeast Florida, but GA is so close you can literally see it from there. They have a nice campground on the beach, and easy access to lots of good restaurants, golf courses, etc.
