New Apollo Half Time Installed
Bought a new Apollo Half Time from Midwest Sales and got it installed. My old one began completely turning itself off after 3-4 minutes, including display. Wait 2-3 minutes and display would come back on and it would work again for another 3-4 minutes before stopping again. Probably could have had it repaired, but figured it would have been in excess of $100 for repairs so just bought a new one.
New one is a model AAC34 BIB where the old one was an AAC24 BIB. Difference is the door has a pull handle instead of the pushbutton door opener as before. I like the pull handle better.
I inquired about refurbished ones, but lady said they had not had any refurbished ones for sale for some time now. I only asked as I thought they might be interested in getting my old one to repair/restore. But she said they only refurbish new scratch and dent or blemished models, not used ones. So off it goes to recycle somewhere.
Actually found it slightly cheaper at rvstuffusa.com, but bought from Midwest Sales due to success stories from MOC members. But price difference was minimal. Rvstuffusa.com was $310 with free shipping. Midwest was $295 + shipping which came to about $334 for me.
