Who does what

Any suggestions or comments on who is responsible for what, while full timing. ? It's the wife and I.

the answer is simple, whatever 'she wants to be responsible for.' merry christmas to all.

seriously, i usually do the outside stuff, she does all of the inside stuff. it works for us. this is even when we set up too.

We are not full times but Long timers but your question applies to all Rv'ers. In general Helen is responsible for the inside stuff and I am responsible for the outside stuff. We both can do everything. Helen can drive, park, back, hook up and does so on a equal basis. example the slides not not come in or go out till Helen gives me the OK from inside.

Rv'ing is a team effort and makes life a lot easier . We both do a walk around before departure inside and out checking each other out.

This won't make the guys happy, but I do the laundry, vacuuming, cat pan and about half the dishwashing and all the outdoor stuff. I do the BBQing and Joyce does most of the rest of the cooking, sewing, haircutting, dusting and everything else.

My wife does inside and I do outside. My first job is always shore power. Then we disconnect the truck, level the rig and go our separate ways. When we are ready to move everything is done in reverse. We both recheck the interior and exterior of the rig before leaving.

My wife does the inside and I do the outside. The slides do not go in/out unless we agree we are both ready for it!

We are like most, Ann does the inside and I do the outside. On arrival she guides me into the spot. I hookup the power and drop the landing gear and she pulls the truck away from the rig. I then hit the auto level (just love that feature) and start hooking up the water and sewer. Once level Ann does all the inside stuff. Run the sliders out, powers up the sat. Makes sure the beer 🍻 is cold and brings me one. I will need it while getting the outside rug down and secured to the ground.
I would guess we are like most couples and share the work. I do like to make us our breakfasts and I do all the grilling at dinner time. We share the house work. Both dust but I do the vacuuming and we share the washing of the floors. As for the bathroom 🚽 I am not allowed the go near it as she says I don't do a good job.

I do 95% of the driving but she can pull the rig if need be. I don't think she would be comfortable on city streets but she could do if I were unable to drive for whatever reason.

She is inside, I'm outside except the fridge defrost, I handle that because i don't want her to use the objects that she uses to break the ice off freezer walls to get it done quicker.

Helpful hint for defrosting. Get a heat gun they work great and if your somewhat careful they don't hurt the freezer.

Same as everyone else. Irene does the inside, I do the outside. I currently do 100% of the driving but we have discussed her doing some to get comfortable "just in case".

Same here, D/W does inside, I do outside. Unless something inside gets screwed up, then it's my fault.

Never really had a division of duties so to speak. We tend to do the set up and take down together as we believe at this point that two heads are better than one.
If we are set up long time then things may become a little more of the inside versus outside thing but nothing really cut and dried.
For sure any repairs are my thing along with grilling and distinctly Maureen does the laundry due mostly to my past misdeeds.

I drive she navigates. I do outside setup she does inside. She cooks 80% I do 20%. She does all cleaning inside. I do outside clean and tow vehicle maintenance. If something goes wrong she yells for me to fix even though I may have no idea.

Wifey does the inside and I do the outside PLUS whatever she tells me. As for destinations ~~ I'm just "driving Mrs Patty".

Careful. I ask DW if she wanted to try driving. Two hours later I had to make her to pull over and let me back on the wheel.

Usually the answer is whatever she asks me to do, but we are a little different than the others because we have smaller children. I take care of most of the inside and all of the outside, but she lends a hand when she is able and makes sure the kids are entertained during setup.

Hubby does the outside, I do the inside, and we share the driving. He drives a bit more than I do, but he just needs a break from time to time. When we are in an area that requires navigation, I do that because I am better at it. We have a GPS, but sometimes that is not enough.

We have been married long enough to know I do what I am asked or told to do!! Usually I do outside and Wendi does Insided. Cooking is shared with firehouse rules, cook don't clean, observed. I always open the wind and she makes the mixed drinks. All else is shared unless I'm tired!! Enjoy the trip together it makes it better!!
