You fill it through the city water hook up in the convince center. You hook the water hose and switch it to tank fill.

There is a valve in your convenience center that will fill the fresh water tank when hooked up to city water. It does not have a gravity fill.

The drain is located underneath the trailer at the rear where your fresh tank is located. It either has a cap on it which you have to remove or a drain valve which you turn.

We almost always travel with a full water tank even if our destination has water hook ups. I know the quality of my well water (very good). Don't know what we are going to get when we get to where we are going. The weight is a non issue. The truck could care less about the extra weight and the MPG difference is not even measureable. An added + is when we arrive & depart, I do not have to hook up or disconnect any hoses and don't worry about too much pressure etc. Only exception would be staying beyond 5 days or so. Then we will hook up.

Not sure but I think the only fill for the fresh water tank is a switch in your convenience center that is turned to the fill position when you are hooked up to water. The fill port of the earlier model years has been eliminated.

Agree 100%. I always travel with a nearly full FW tank as I know my water. Besides, may need it for a short or longer period. Some places are loaded with chlorine, others have an odor not used to. The last thing I did for this cold snap is drain the FW tank and now will be required to be away for 2 months without. Not sure I want to add water from a CG in that tank either.

Look I. The convenience center there is a bypass switch to devert water to the fresh water tank.
