Frame to ground distance

Does anyone know the distance from the bottom of frame, or the bottom of axel to the ground on a Big Sky Montana 3900fb 2013 w 16 inch wheels?

for a quick measurement, measure from the center of the wheel to the ground. will get you close. You are around 8-10 inches from the bottom of the axle.

While not a 3900, should be same/similar distance. My '14 3150RL has the springs on top of the axle and from the axle tube bottom to the ground is 13" The distance from the frame to the ground is 25".

I am parked on concrete, 6 point jacks down, have Bridgestone Duravis 250 tires.

Do you need this info for when the Monty is attached to the tv or is setup and level? What is your concern?

I am totally new this. We are picking our trailer up this weekend. I want to buy a bottle jack before we leave, 300 miles to pick up and want to be prepared . I used to own and drive refrigerated transport so that part is not new but the rest , live and learn and enjoy life.

OK, Your Big Sky will have the 6 point level system on it. It will lift the wheels off the ground, HOWEVER it is not recommended. I have had both tires off one side using the 6pt only.

Figure a 16" wheel, 1/2 would be 8" then subtrack 1 1/2" for 1/2 the axle tube 6 1/2" and add back in the flat tire maybe 2" for about 8" to get under the axle tube with a flat.

You will also need a lug nut wrench of some sort, 7/8" deep socket a 4"/6" extension and a bar. Torque is 120ft lbs.

Your Big Sky will/should have Goodyear G614 tires so unless you get a nail or screw you will be fine. Air pressure 110psi cold.
