Bedding

Hi Guys -
We just bought a Montana at the 2009 PA Show. In trying to outfit it we are having difficulty finding fitted sheets for an RV king size bed.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Congratulations on the new rig and "Welcome Aboard"!!!!!
We use standard King Size sheets you can get anywhere that sells linens. The fitted sheet doesn't fit perfectly because of the rounded corners, but it works fine. We have not found the need to use the elastic straps to hold everything in place so far like we did on our last rig. I think there may be some that are made specifically for RV's, but I am not willing to pay the extra $$$ for them. Hope this helps.

Our previous SOB had a true queen size, so bedding wasn't an issue. Our new 2010 Monty has an RV King which isn't as easy to deal with. We've discovered that if the fitted sheet has elastic all the way around it works better. When putting the bottom sheet on if you pull the mattress away from the headboard and put your foot on the plywood with your knee under the mattress you can get it under the headboard side of the mattress. Doing this on both sides helps. Then it's just a matter of stretching and tucking.

Oh, and in our 3075RL model the king size bed fits wall to wall (on sides) so we took off the nice solid surface bed side shelves as they protruded over the bed. We figured they would just be elbow knockers and the bed would be even hard to make. We've saved them in case we switch out for a Queen size later.
