3400RL Vanity Lights

Can anyone tell me what the wattage is on the light's above the mirror in the bedroom sink/vanity? Also, is the base of the light bulb the standard medium base or the smaller candelabra base? I'm planning on replacing the factory light bulbs with Dimmable Fluorescent lights.

Our New 3400 will arrive at the dealer Tuesday evening!

We replaced with compact fluorescent bulbs - more light and a lot less heat!

Ours are standard. We didn't like the clear bulbs so swapped them for the white ones from our tradein.

These were 60 watt bulbs in 2006 3400RL. We replaced recently with the 14W=60W compact flourescent bulbs. Takes them a little while to brighten up (30 secs) but they are brighter and use LESS electricity. Plus it's a present to Al Gore from us.
PS....there are 3 of them

Thanks for all the information! I went and ordered these: http://www.1000bulbs.com/product.php?product=33451. I'm planning on replacing the light switch with a dimmer switch that way if someone has to get up in the middle of the night they don't have to blind the person still sleeping.

I went for the dimmer, but I can't stand the light from the flourescent lights. About as warm as a hospital bed.

Great reply Brad. Besides, those who think that trading their incandescent lamps for the fluorescent ones is a winner are simply trading one problem of energy hog to another problem of mercury poisoning of the ecosystem as these lamps are disposed of.

We did the same thing when we as a nation switched paper grocery bags to plastic ones. Paper bags came from a renewable resource and the plastic bags come from petroleum. Go figure.
