Extended warranty pays the bill

Lost my main a/c unit. Service folks came out and discovered a leak in the evaporator coil. My extended paid all but $50 deductible for parts and labor for replacement of the evaporator coil.

You hear about these EWs being a waste of money than along comes a situation proving that theory wrong. It's like having a life insurance policy that you hope you never get to use but it is comforting to know it's there.
