LED Light will not turn off?
Hello All,
I have 5 LED puck lights with a red on/off switch on the light. The Red switch stays lit and the LED part turns on and off.
Tonight, I have a puck light that when you push the red button on the light, the light down not turn off, it just goes to a dim setting.
When you push the red button it goes from the normal on brightness to a dim light, it no longer turns off.
Thoughts? My experience is a push on/push off switch is either closed or open. In this case, the switch when pushed is either closed or some how is making the light stay on in a dim setting.
The other lights work as they should? I know I got a bad light, but why? Or what to check on the light that is not turning off?
Jim

I'd be concerned you have a short in the switch.

Thanks Guys. Since it is cold and wet today, I have a inside project.
Took puck light apart. The push on/push off switch has 2 ckts thru it. Only one ckt was turning off, thus the led's were being fed by the one that was always feeding.
I had the 2 I had removed when I installed new under counter lights so just replaced it.
