New RV

Paul and I took possession of our new 2013 Mountaineer 358 RLT on 8/2/12 and just got back from our first trip in it. I just love it. After 3 days of clearing out all the "stuff" from our 2004 Sunnybrook and reloading, and rearranging ( several times), I'm trying to remember where I put everything. This is our first Keystone product and hope we will continue to like it as much as we do now. This site appears to be very informative. We have camped for about 40 years and feel very knowledgeable but always enjoy and can learn something new every day from fellow campers. Hope to camp with many of you along the road of life.

We would love to attend the rally, but I am hosting a bridal tea for my nephew's fiancé on the 23rd. Maybe next year. Thanks for invite.

Hi, Carole,

Yours is very much like my 2005 329RLT except some galley details. I have friends near you who have a Mountaineer but they are not members here. Hope you have lots of fun with your new Mountie!

Welcome Carole and Paul, and congrats on your new Monty. I also have been in camping some way or another for many years, from Tent, to Pop up, to 4 or 5 pull behinds, motor homes, 5th wheel, and now my first Monty. I have never been happier in any RV unit, we love the Monty. Course maybe the new marriage had something to do with it too. Hope to meet you down the road one of these days. If you get into Michigan, stop by Alice Springs RV Park and Resort and join us for one of our jams on Saturday afternoon, from 4 to 6. Say howdy and stick around for a cook out after the jam. Happy Trails, Steve and Susie

Thanks to all of you for the warm welcome. We too have had 11 forms of camping, tent, popup, class A, Class C, TT's, and 4 FW's. This is our first Monty and so far I too love it. We attended several Sunnybrook Rallies and hope we can make the Montana one next year.
Steve and Susie - we have done quite a bit of traveling in Michigan nd love that beautiful state.. Thanks for the invite and we would certainly join you if we are back that way. We have a lot of friends from Michigan that we camp with in the winter. Great folks. If you make it thru Alabama, let us know.

Thanks so much, Michael and Camilla. So far we really like it. We had 3 Sunnybrook FW's since 1996. I love the floor plan and have rearranged pots and pans at least 4 times. We have made a few modifications and may Make a few more. We used to winter around Bushnell, Fl and love it down there. Maybe we will run across each other one day.

We have a home in Land O Lakes...until we can sell it! We are able to enjoy the spring/summer/early fall months on the road and in Maine...we are in the Florida location in the winter. Again, enjoy that Montana...we sure do like ours!

Welcome to the forum Carole and DH, and congratulations on the new rig. Sounds like you have lots of experience to contribute to the forum! We had a 27' travel trailer and really enjoyed it, but just not enough room. So, we decided a 40' fifth wheel was the only way to go LOL and got our first Montana a few months ago. Hope you enjoy your new one too!

Congratulations!
Great choice for sure; another great thing is that you found this forum. It’s a great place to learn and share things about the Mountaineer brand.
