Kaput TV, the Compromise IS

Al went out shopping this afternoon, armed with all the good data the good members of MOC had forwarded to us. Names, sizes, measurements.

He was headed out to buy one set and came home with:

Toshiba 20 inch Flat Tube, at Best Buy, was $10.00 more than the regular ole TV he went out to get.

He did the ole, watch the TV at the store test. The war was, quality vs screen size. Quality won.

There is more than 5 inches OVER the top of the new Toshiba which he will use to add a shelf and then the DVD player will go on that shelf. This will free up the top shelf behind the glass doors (above TV area in the 3295) where the DVD had been installed.

We have it going now, and it seems to be fine, we can see it just fine from the chair, the couch and actually even from the desk.

Wanted to thank you all for your great feed back and help in this search.

Carol

Hey, good choice. Those flat screens are really sharp and clear. Happy viewing.

Good choice. We have a number of Toshiba products, including the one in the Monty (standard in the '05 3400). Good luck. The shelves will be a nice touch. Post pictures if you get a chance.
