Slide problem - maybe
I had a couple slides with kinda loose cables so went through and 'touched up' all four. After doing the long (12+ foot) had a rattely squeal at one end when 3/4s retracted. I checked the slide 'box' to wall clearance and it looks like the slide is cocked in the hole and rubbing. I went outside to check clearances to the framework and it looks like virtually zero at the aft end with 1/4' or so at the forward end.
With that said, adjusting cables, as I understand them, will not affect this type of 'box alignment. So, with that said, do I have a slide roller that has either gone out of adjustment or failed. Does it even have separate rollers or just a single slide bar - and something that neither the NORCO/BAL web site can tell me other then it has rollers. I can add 3-5 adjustable rollers** to the exterior along with some aluminum 'tracks' but is that a band aid for the problem and I really need to get deeper then fix what needs to be repaired?

The cables should have some slack in them when they aren’t the cables pulling the slide. If the slide isn’t extending straight it probably means the cables aren’t adjusted properly. Go to the manufacture’s web site. It should tell how to adjust the cables and how much slack should be in the cables. When the cables are too tight it puts too much strain on the wall and the pulleys.

Lynwood - you gotta go back and read it again . It's going out perfectly straight. The slide is adjusted to the NORCO/BAL website/manual and has the proper amount of tightness in the cables with no slack now. It's that the slide is tilted in the 5ers side wall by about .25". i.e. not level with the bottom frame as it should be to prevent diagonal corners from rubbing.

Totally and both ways by bubble spirit level as we don't have self leveling.

Banging you head on the slide will not help with the adjustment

Banging my head because I have no clue what kind of roller mechanism the slide uses or if it even has separate rollers ... and what I said in the OP. I was kinda hoping for help and guidance from those that might know.

As I have said many times. Call Accu-Slide and explain your problem. They are very helpful.

That I will do!! I ask here first as sometimes web forum folks have a better handle on what a particular (Keystone) brand has done to a product along with hands on experiences vs designers/manufacturers

Maybe this will help
I found this and saved it, thinking I will need it later. I'm not suggesting this will fix your issue, but I thought I would share with the forum...

Good info
A manual all should have if they have a cable slide.
This adds the parts list, designer's (drill down some) and installation instructions to that manual: http://norcoind.com/bal/products/oem...de/index.shtml

I have a 2016 352 RL and I don't know the difference between your model and mine, but I had trouble with my "kitchen slide" this year. It doesn't have rollers, just a "slide guide bar". It collapsed this year resulting in the slide dropping down and being extremely close to the floor. Keystone replaced the guide bar with an improved style for me at this year Fall Rally. Now everything is "A OK"

Thanks for that information as it is what I was thinking was under there. I would guess that since ours is a '14 343RL that Keystone will not consider any helping hand and it would all be on my account.
Come to think about it - that kitchen slide may also be a problem as well!!
One question - did the installers just jack the slide up in place or did they remove it entirely. As an 'advanced' DIYer, have the tools if it was only jacked in place.
