Major UpGrades to my 07 Montana
I think the major comfort upgrades to my 07 Montana was the MCD shades.
2nd was the Electric over hydraulic disk Brakes.
Since I felt the suspension was maxed out and the disk brakes added 40% more tork on the axle when stopping stopping I included the Mor/Ryde Independent Suspension.
Third comes the Lippert Levelup system.
I did more modifications like solor and more batteries etc.

It sounds like a plan that came together!
It’s nice when things like that have been done.
Enjoy and relax!

Sounds like you went for "in my opinion" the important things. Of course everyone can have a different list yours included safety and convenience.

Sounds like it is a keeper for a few more years... Sometimes upgrading what you've got is better than purchasing something new and you don't know how many things will break. Kinda why I keep my old 2006.

Those are my thoughts. Better the devil you know. There is so much wisdom here on the MOC, it makes sense to tap into it and keep the older rigs running. As a regular here, I see a lot of problems being discussed by newer members who have recently bought new and now are dealing with simple to difficult problems. Hats off to John who obviously is innovative and has the ability and smarts to keep a somewhat older rig up to date with the latest technology. There are a lot of members here who have that aptitude, and I'm grateful for it.

With 100% hindsight I should have kept the 06 3400 and upgraded no matter what the cost. We already had the IS suspension on it.My concern was that the front end had broke 3 times(frame flex)and I was concerned there was not much left up there. The 2013 3402 Big sky is not any better than the 06 3400 and thus far the failure rate has been higher. We just invested 1800.00 in a trailer saver hitch hoping it will help with the front end stress after 1200 miles the results are IMO positive.

We've had our '10 for a bit over three years. We've added solar, dual motor front jacks and other odds and ends (no where near as much as you though). Did the Rally two years back and toured the plant. I've got to say that we've not seen anything in a newer model that we couldn't easily live without. We've spent 10 weeks on the road, but don't need a residential refer. I wouldn't have the new idea of no gravity fill port. Don't want to worry about cable slides, and if a hydraulic line breaks, I can fix it. I like our split power panel and separate converter. We both love the rear entertainment system and don't want 'home theater seating' - we may replace the heavy recliners with euro style ones, but want the flexibility they give. We also may replace the love seat sized couch with something lighter or more functional. Nothing we've seen by any manufacturer has what we like in the unit we have - why change? Especially when I've already cleaned out a lot of the construction debris left by the techs building ours!
