Did you take the old floor out or put the new floor down over the old floor?

Just put it right over the old floor. It's vinyl flooring so only added 1/8". The only place I was concerned about adding height to the floor was in the kitchen, I was worried about the kitchen slide rolling over it. So far so good...time will tell.

Hi Glenn, and fellow Kitsaper. Got the materials a Lowes. We saw one of my firefighters 2014 Montana and they had vinyl plank flooring and tile backslash. Looked real good so we went to Lowes and found similar materials. I used Style Selection self sticking vinyl plank, and Instant Mosaic Stainless Steel Color Metal Mosaic Subway Indoor/Outdoor Peel-and-Stick Wall Tile. In the bedroom sink area I will be using Instant Mosaic Brown Glass/Natural Stone/Metal Mixed Material Mosaic Indoor/Outdoor Wall Tile.

Good job. It's nice not to have to remove the old flooring. Just peel and stick, my kind of job too!

Just a fyi... We took 2 of the peel and stick planks. Put rubber stair tread on the back and use those as on our kitchen slide when it comes in to protect our vinyl from scratching. You could make those to prevent and scratch marks on your new floor. Just an idea. Just have to watch when retracting they dont go out with the slide. Just an idea sice u said time will tell. Looks great!
