Fall is really here

This morning we had our first frost of the year. brrrr! It will be in the mid 60s today. The colors are in the trees and no rain in sight. Great days ahead.

Fall !!! must have missed it, woke up to snow all around us this morning, melted off by 11am but suppose to snow again tonight, snow still on the mtns about 5000 ft level. Can't get in to big a hurry to go south, not enough snow on the ground and the roads aren't iced up yet

And here in Florida it is still in the 90's and we had a day with a pile of rain today! Man, we came home about a month too early...

I too woke up to rain/snow/slush mix! We are in Billings MT and the children at school were so excited because of the 'first snow of the school year'! I was ready for something other than 100 degree weather though so it was a welcome change!

Dick and Toni,
I'll bet it must be even more beautiful than when we were there. And it was spectacular then! Stay warm and see you soon. Dennis and Mary Kay

On Edit: It was only in the low 100s here. Fall still seems far away. DH

Yes, fall is in the air. The weekend forecast for southern Ohio is mid-50's. Come on Keystone, please deliver our Monty before the hard freeze.

What is the Fall weather you speak of? It's supposed to be 100 today in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas where we are. :-(

Our favorite time of year. Which direction first? Beach for fishing, or mountains for color? Easy, let's do both!!! All the while planning for more adventures. Happy trails! Larry

Here's hoping next season is better for both of us. Health issues kept both of us from using the Monty much this year.

Yup, just got back from the Rally and are going to change out to our winter stuff and then head west. Freeze warning already for this weekend. Too soon in my book.

Fall is sure in the air here in Michigan. Had to make a trip to the Ann Arbor VA Hospital Tuesday, 75 normally boring miles, but with all the color it was a nice trip. We have two more Saturdays of jams at the campground, hope the weather holds up at least a little for them, playing guitar with frosty fingers is not my idea of fun. Will probably do an out in the country scenic drive Sunday.

Cool temps and lots of leaves. The Village doesn't start leaf pick up until 10/15 and we will be in Fl. My grandson is going to take care of it for me for a slight renumeration. I hope he does me proud.

Just looked at the weather. Will have to disconnect the hose tonight - 7 hours below freezing forecast.
