I most respectfully disagree. the Full faith and Credit Clause of the US Constitution guarantees, among other things, that a license good in one state is good in all states. There are certain exceptions such as the 65' foot law which is a safety issue decided by the states.
The pertinent part of the Article is set forth here:
Article IV, Section 1 of the US Constitution contains what is known as the Full Faith and Credit Clause. This clause requires all States in the US to recognize and give effect to the legislation, public records and judicial decisions of other States in the US. It states that each State should grant full faith and credit to the laws, public records and judicial decisions of every other state in the US. The clause ensures that the judicial decisions of other States are recognized by a State. This also ensures that individuals do not migrate to other states in order to escape a court judgment in another State.
This clause is implemented by 28 USCS § 1738: State and Territorial statutes and judicial proceedings; full faith and credit. It states as follows The Acts of legislature of any State, Territory, or Possession of the United States, or copies thereof, shall be authenticated by affixing the seal of such State, Territory or Possession thereto.
The records and judicial proceedings of any court of any such State, Territory or Possession, or copies thereof, shall be proved or admitted in other courts within the United States and its Territories and Possessions by the attestation of the clerk and seal of the court annexed, if a seal exists, together with a certificate of a judge of the court that the said attestation is in proper form.
Such Acts, records and judicial proceedings or copies thereof, so authenticated, shall have the same full faith and credit in every court within the United States and its Territories and Possessions as they have by law or usage in the courts of such State, Territory or Possession from which they are taken.
The DOMA Act (Defense of Marriage) was passed specifically to get around this provision

David, I agree with you 100%, but until someone takes it upon themselves to drag these folks in front of a judge and have him explain it to them, nothing will change.

That So-Called Police Chief is a complete disgrace. He and his department need a major overhaul! We will also avoid Goodyear at all costs!

The Chief's response explains the officer's attitude. When the boss is a complete idiot he will only hire and continue to employ dumber and bigger jerks than he is. Otherwise the Mayor might up and decide to replace him. This way the Mayor has few options.

Thank you Dick. Your response took 1 1/2 lines of space and it couldn't have been better said than that. You nailed it perfectly.

So, I emailed the Chief, again, the various threads here while first redacting the threads to preserve anonymity.
No response...yet
Maybe he is Googling my email address to send people to arrest me?

Art,
Redacted:
he blacked out personal and sensitive info from our posts, so the jerk police cheif can't pin specifics on any of us in particular.
In reality, if the a-hole really wanted to see the entire info, he could just register as a new member and view the entire threads, ....if he was smart enough that is, which I seriously doubt.

Now that is funny!
Thankfully somebody can still find humor in themselves!

Thanks Sky! Unfortunately the job was easy. After 20 years with a badge and a gun I moved to a small town and found a similar situation. When the problem began to impact my business I ran for Mayor and after I won I had to replace the Chief, several officers and the City Judge. First year wasn't a lot of fun. Before I got the chief replaced I had to go back to riding in a patrol car and sneaking up on officers who were either incompetent or actually breaking the law themselves.

No, I was that guy growing up on the south side of Chicago just to live thru high school. As a LEO I tried never to be that guy. Never had to shoot anyone, seldom had to draw my weapon and hardly ever had to fight anyone. Worked out a lot better that way.
