Too Cold
Greetings, I am looking to replace the louvered ceiling AC vent in the bath with one that can be turned off or at least turned down. The bathroom gets to be more like a meat locker when the AC is on. Any ideas for a controllable ceiling vent?
Thanks

Bob, I popped mine off and taped half of it closed with foil tape. What a difference. I have seen the adjustable ones, they dont look very sturdy. I have seen them in other units and the knob or louvers were broken on several of them.

We purchased some that Jayco uses, they spin up and down, but re-reading your description, not sure ours are the same as you are describing.
Anyway, our vents are round, and these spin up and down, allowing more or less air. They work great and since we don't spin them much once we had them adjusted they are sturdy enough.
I thought I had a photo somewhere, but, cannot find it now. SteveR may have a photo.

Thanks for the replies guys, I think for now I'll just remove the grill and tape it at about 70% or so. Will keep my eye out for one with a damper.
