Montrose/Durango Area

Any recommendations for a campground in the subject areas. We are thinking about staying a month or more at each location next summer.
Thanks,
Mike

Mike, this Spring we stayed at Montrose RV Resort for a month. I believe while we were there it became a KOA but it is a very nice park with good wifi and good cable. We were happy with our choice. For an April/May stay we paid $325 plus electricity. I do not know if summer rates are higher. One nice thing, just set your empty propane tank outside, they'll pick it up, refill it, put it back where you left it and add it to your bill. We were in site 26, an excellent site, but close to the swimming pool so it might not be as quiet as it was in April.

Here's a picture of our site (site 26)

We stay at national forest sites near Durango but they have a 14 day limit. Beautiful area!
