I may resort to that. I could also get a cheap set, take mine off, rebuild them and donate the cheap set to... well the junk pile.
ONLY problem with that, is I will be on the road shortly and am about out of time to do work on anything.
I have been working on the trailer for 3 month's now, pretty much steady. I haven't done any HVAC work for a week now, my apprentice has been fielding all the calls, as he is taking over my business.

Measured my steps and they are 26" and curved. I measured from the brace to brace just below the step. The main box support under the door measures 27 5/8" wide.

Brace to brace, I got 26 from edge-to-edge of actual metal step.
My main box under the door is the same.
