fridge not cooling

if i am on a single 110 volt circuit should mt fridge work? aka get cold.

Is it a RV or RES frig? if its a RV it should run on 12 volts & gas if it is a RES it only runs on 110 volts if it is a RES frig you mite have a problem with your inverter.

A RV fridge will run on either 120V or 12V. In either case, there must be 12V present for the control board to work. Trying to run with a dead, or no, battery doe not work.

A residential fridge must have 120V and does not need 12V if running off of shore power. Obviously it needs 12V from the batteries to power the inverter and have it supply 120V in lieu of share power.

Capt Carl, we just camped at our brothers place and only had 110v hookup (standard electrical outlet). The fridge (rv model) keep showing errors for NoAc or LoAc. And was not as cold as normal. Was battery low maybe?
