DIESEL FUEL PRICES
Back in Oct. there was a discussion about fuel prices. Well we all know what has happened since then in this regard. Gayle and I are within a week of leaving for Quartzite,Az from 2 hrs north of Toronto and we would love to know what you're paying for fuel. Also I recently linked to a site(I think it was in a thread on this forum) that gave locations for the best prices across North America but can't remember what that site address was. Can someone remind me or give me the address of a similar site?

Bought #2 diesel at a ARCO station in Lodi Ca last Wed for $2.81 a gallon. In Jackson Ca #2 diesel $3.21 gal.

Diesel in Omaha is ranging from $3.24-$3.49 depending where in town you are at! Come on by and see us on your way to the warm climate! We're hoping to leave after the first of the year, if the doc releases me. We'll see what happens! See you down there in AZ sometime this winter anyway if you can't make a stop in Omaha!

around the $2.80 area maybe a little less in spots in the Tulsa, OK area. reg. gas down around $1.80

We are currently in Quartzsite and the cheapest is $3.34 at the Chevron and just east on I-10 in Salome it's $2.81 at the Zipp station.

Cheapest today in central Illinois was $3.39 a gallon. According to a GasBuddy alert it is suppose to go up slightly around here.
Just came from Clarksville and it was slightly cheaper down there. Still better than last fall.
I not only use GasBuddy but I also have the Love's app and Pilot app on my I-phone. Each morning prior to hooking up I know where I will fuel and how much the fuel is running at those fuel stops. Since my OEM tank only holds 26 gallons and I only carry an extra 10 gallons I have to plan accordingly.

If you are rolling through this part of Central Califonia be sure to use gasbuddy.com. The gas stations on Hwy 99 through Merced can range from $4.05 to below $2.90, and that was yesturday.

Saw (and bought!!) $2.99 in Port Richey Florida today. Went two miles farther and saw $2.96!

It depends on the software you are using. IE has a banner about 1/3 down. Safari has an arrow on the upper left hand side. The iPhone app has a selection bar at the bottom. It's there!

Gasbuddy defaults to regular gas. There is a tab on the far right that will give you the diesel price. Diesel is $2.79 at some spots in Joplin.

Hi. One easy way to get "local area" diesel pricing is to access the pilotflyingj website and access their "check fuel prices" tab. Their stations are listed by state with current gas/diesel prices. However, in terms of buying diesel, I have a Fry's Food VIP card and I earn fuel points by shopping at their stores. (I'm in Sun City West, AZ). Last month, I was able to reduce my fuel bill by $1.05 a gallon (I must eat a lot). And while I'm at it. Fry's Foods gives seniors a 10% discount on their grocery purchases on the first Wednesday of the month.
