3605RL pictures from Toronto RV show.

Here are the pictures we took at the show: http://picasaweb.google.com/john.coc...ontana3605RL02

Overall, we were impressed, we do have a few reservations.
In comparison to our present unit 2005 3670RL, it seems quite a bit heavier, lacks a coat closet near the door, and does not have a full size laundry closet. We think the counter space and cupboard space is a bit less too, and the sinks are much smaller.

I noticed that a Mountaineer nearby had TrailAir EquaFlex suspension and wonder if this might be in Montana's future.

(By the way, this was the only Montana at the show, and it was already sold!)

Helen noted that the sinks were smaller in all the models.

I went to the camping show in Virginia today and looked at two Montana's and two Everest units. I will only say the Everest units were really nice.

You two look really good in this new model. Aren't you supposed to be in the Valley?

The black object in the closet looks like the base to the Flat Screen LCD TV. When I picked up my 3400rl, the same thing was in the drawer in the base of my sofabed. The salesman told me that was what the black object was for.

Thanks John for sharing the photos. The 3670 is not the model we will be ordering, but at least we can see some of the new features.

We went to the Dayton Ohio show at the Expo center tonight. They had one of the new units and had the 3605 just came in this week. We are planning on stopping at Couches Camper Sales in Hamilton Ohio this next weekend to see that model. I liked what I saw there tonight, I just wish we could have seen the 3605 there too.
Oh well, we are just getting ours to the place we are getting happy with it, so I don't think we will be buying very soon!

Hi John & Donna,

I must say, you 2 sure look good sittin' in those chairs!!
If you start "itching" it's a sure sign you have been bitten by the "new Monty bug". I heard that's going around these days

Thank you for taking time to take the pics and sharing with us. I enjoyed them very much.

The sink wall doesn't look as awkward in the pictures as it does from the floor plan design I looked at a couple days ago.

Thanks for the pics, John. Looks like you cannot get to the fridge when the slides are in??? A necessity for traveling... I can't tell from the pics.

*On Edit~ Let me clarify... Having a fridge is accessible while traveling is crucial to US, but I know there are several MOCers that have been traveling for years without this access and they adapt just fine.

Thank you John. I was so busy at the Tampa show that I didn't have time to take any pictures of the rigs. Lorraine and I fell in love with the new 3605 so much so that I was putting together a deal on a new one that I just ran out of time for pics.
I will explain the new deal further in a separate thread.

We agree about the need to get at the fridge and other interior spaces while traveling. (one the reasons we like our 3670RL) We don't think that would be a problem with the 3605RL, but as I always tell people, "ask to the unit with the slides in before you buy". It can make quite a difference to how usable your rig is while on the road.

I would hate for folks to not purchase this lovely floorplan because of this small feature. We can't get to our frig on the road, when the slides are closed, but it is very easy to open one slide and have full access to our 3380. It's nice when you can get to your frig when the slides are in but shouldn't keep us from considering other plans.
