Recommendations for a decent RV park in Santa Fe
I'm heading to Santa Fe, NM in about 2 weeks for about 5 nights. I'm driving from Ogden, UT and I have calculated it will be less expensive to drive my truck and trailer, than my car and stay in motels for 7 nights, including a night on the road both ways. With my Montana, I can stay the night both ways on the road for free, so I only need an RV park for the 5 nights in Santa Fe However, I've never been to Santa Fe, so I know nothing about it.
Any thoughts or recommendations? Thank you.

Have used Rancheros De Santa Fe Campground (Good Sam). It is close in and Santa Fe is full of Galleries, Museums, and great dining. Plenty of historical and scenic places around the Santa Fe area. Have fun!

We stayed at Santa Fe Skies RV Park a couple nights 3 yrs ago and would stay there again. On the southwest edge of town at I-25 and loop 599 but easy drive into town. Nice park. Nothing outstanding but certainly nothing bad. Don't remember now how much we paid.

We stayed at Sante Fe Skies as well. There is a RailRunner station about 1/2 mile away and is a convenient way to and from downtown. Cheap too!

We stayed at Santa Fe Skies twice this summer--best RV Park in Santa Fe. Easy to get to and Cerrillos Road is the main route into the downtown area if you are going there. The bus terminal is at the Santa Fe Place Mall--very easy to use. Great restaurant is Blue Corn Café and Brewery on Rodeo Dr--fresh New Mexican food and fresh beer if you are interested. Best tortillas and sopillas in SF! Also green chile stew, fajitas, etc--we ate it all!

We love SantaFe Skies as well. Mark N, just a point of clarification to your original post, "SantaFe and less expensive should not be used in the same post." But it is a great place to visit. Enjoy, Jim
