Electric Awning Question

We have an 09 3075 with the electric awning. There is no info on this as to manufacturer, warranty, or parts. It operates fine now but I would like to have this info just in case it does malfunction. Same problem with electric rear stabilizers although they may be considered part of the frame and so be covered by Lippert.

Our 2008 Montana model 3400 came with a kitchen drawer full of paper that included installation instructions, user guides, warranties, tv remotes, etc. Among those papers was A&E Power Patio Awning installation instructions, A&E User's Guide and the Limited Three-year Warranty for the A&E awning. On every A&E document, they indicate Dometic Corp. For Canada, Dometic is listed at Brantford, Ont., 519-720-9578. You may want to contact the dealer that sold you your Montana and ask them for these documents, if the awning is A&E (Dometic). I wasn't sure of the specific model and serial # of our awning and our dealer provided that info to even include the awning hardware model/serial numbers. I hope this info helps on the awning inquiry. Dennis

Extend the awning and look on the arm. There should be a sticker or plate identifying the manufacturer. You may have to get on a step ladder and look in the trough portion of the arm.

Edited: I think Dometic and A&E are the same when it comes to awnings.

The Dometic web page references the A&E awning as one of the models it sells (Power Pro)

waynem is correct. The manufacturer's name should be on a sticker somewhere. Carefree Awning of Colorado is the one on mine. If that is your manufacturer, you can find info online including installation and owner's manuals. I needed a replacement part for mine and got the info online.
