Any experience with the Mountaineer 347 toy hauler
Good day, folks. We are narrowing our search for a 5th wheel. Today, we looked at the Mountaineer 347 THT. We were pleasantly surprised... pretty livable floorplan (especially with the Euro chairs in the "garage") for a toy hauler.
One of the other 5th wheels on our short list is the Fuzion 302 (also a Keystone product). More flash than the Mountaineer 347, nicer gelcoat, plenty of bang for the buck. The Mountaineer is more traditional 5th wheel, with a small garage.
Has anyone here had some hands-on experience with the Mountaineer 347 THT? Since it's Montana's first toy hauler, I was wondering about the smaller ramp door... functional? Solid? Any problems?
I understand the Mountaineer is a lower trim level than the regular Montana (no formed gel-coat back cap, but that wouldn't work with the toy hauler anyway)... any other things "left out" that I should consider?
Any opinions on the comparison with the Fuzion?
Thanks in advance for your responses.
Best wishes,
Jim B.
