Water on the Road
When we travel, we often stop for lunch at rest areas and many times just a parking lot.
Well, we like to wash our hands, use the bathroom and so on.
With our Double slide/island kitchen, you cannot access the control panel, with the pump switch, which is located in the very back of the kitchen. So we have two options, leave the pump on all of the time, or don't have water. I have had a faucet work its way on while going down the road, so that option is out.
I added a lighted switch in the wall just above the pump. I simply cut the hot wire to the pump and put the switch in series. Now we leave the OEM switch on and can turn the pump on and off from the area near the steps and have a bright red light to tell us if we have left the pump on.
