Thanks cat for the clarification. It makes sense about calander year also.

We will know soon.

As I understand ULSD is already being delivered to stations but they keep the LSD labels on until it the tanks are "washed" out so I expected some of the stickers to change overnight. After all the refiineries are already 80% ULSD.

I keep my mileage checked at every tank to see if the new fuel affects my performance. So far I have noticed an increase in mileage. Did not expect that.

We went to ULSD in this area the 1st of June.Once the LSD was out of the pipeline ULSD was all there is.That is all you can get here. I keep fuel logs in the busses I drive and go through 100/130 Galons of diesel a week/ I see a 2 MPG average decrease in MPG. 2 othe friends of mine that drive big trucks (One is a UPS driver) the other transports the US mail, also note a decrease in MPG. It does smell better and it does burn cleaner..everything is a trade off. By this time next year the data will be in and we shall see???
