Pigeon Forge, TN

Just a quick hello to all of you. Have missed being active on the forum since the rally, but have been on the road. We are now at Riveredge in Pigeon Forge. Just discovered yesterday they have free WiFi so am attempting to learn how to use it with my laptop so we can stay more active. After dinner this evening had a great surprise! Pale Blue Dot and his wife stopped by for a chat and we shared the photo CD with them from the rally. There are five Montanas here in the campground but have not met the other owners yet. Have been leaving our MOC cards on lots of Motana doors in KY and TN. We will be leaving here on Monday heading for AL than on to MS and across the panhandle of FL. Gee this retirement is great. Will try to get on and let you all know where we are from time to time. Hope to meet up with some of you somewhere down the road!!!'

JoyceH, so how is the Pigeon Forge area and the RV Park you are in? As the voting is going, it looks like Reno and Pigeon Forge are the top two choices for the next rally. America is your playground, go out and have fun.

Wondered what happened to you Tom and Joyce. Good to hear you are enjoying your new lifestyle! How was the balloon fest at Long Branch? We missed it by a couple of days. Beautiful area and really enjoyed Winchester and Candy Hill. Thanks for the referral. Continued happy trails to you ......

Thanks all for the replies.
Doug & Sharon...we love the Pigeon Forge area. So much to do and so much beauty here. We really like Riveredge (think they have the best bath houses we have seen yet). However some spots are a little close together, but for now they do have free WiFi.Also have cable tv and a fire ring at each site. Drove through River Plantation RV park yesterday, sites seemed larger, in a less busy area and seemed they may be able to handle large groups such as we need for our MOC Rally. Did not get a chance to talk to the office.

Steve & Vicki...Yes we truly are enjoying our freedom from the working scene. Tom went in for his final post surgery check last Monday and the doctor says he has graduated and does not need to go back for a year unless he has some unforeseen problems.

Ron & Vic...Balloon festival was great. A little wet and windy at times, but enjoyed the time with our daughter and her family. Never get tired of watching those hot air balloons launch at sunrise.

We are heading out of here tomorrow. Will catch you all the next time we have some internet access available. Just realized I need to change our signature in our profile. Will get that updated soon.

Catch ya'll down the road!!
