Coming soon...my greatest mod !

Well, I guess it's gonna happen. We got a smokin' deal on a washer dryer today and I pulled the trigger. Our rig isn't prepped...wouldn't matter anyway, this is a residential stackable maytag. After some very serious mods to cabinetry and walls if my measurements are correct, I'll have 1-1/8" side clearance, 5" back, and 2-3/8 top clearance. I've got not much margin for error.

Because this requires major mods to living room and bathroom, and will take some time I'm going to try and take lots of pics and post them here as we go along.

I told Judi she may want to go out of town for a few days.

I'm definitely interested after we talked about this when I pick up the table from you in Strafford. Are you still going to mount it in the where you talked about?

Yep. This will mean radical mods to the tv/entertainment cabinet area, as well the cabinetry in the toilet room...not to mention the plumbing and electrical. I'm pretty excited about this, and will certainly try and post a detailed "blow by blow" with pics.

Bill, I just reread your first post. Is your dryer 110v or 220v? I know we have 2 110v lines coming in on our 50amp service, but I was lead to believe we didn't really have 220v in our monty's and that most campgrounds didn't have 220v at their posts. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong/confused. If we do have 220v, I'll be right behind you as I've got a stackable setting at home collecting dust.

Wild Horse, don't forget that you still have to duct the dryer out and need at least 3 inches on top in order to duct the exhaust outside. As far as 220 volt service goes most 220 volt dryers are two 110volt feeds. The same goes for 50 amp service at campgrounds and the 50 amp service for the rig. you have two 110 volt leads coming into the rig in the big cable. I just got a 220 breaker and installed it and a 220 volt 50 stove plug above my dryer as both my washer and dryer are 220. The system works just fine with the only limitation being that we need 50 amp service for it to work and I don't run the microwave or the ACs while the dryer is running... Dave
