3455 Television issue
We are having issues with the lift system in our 3455...it no longer stops when it reaches the top of the raised position. The motor keeps lifting the TV even when it's reached the top and have to use the remote to stop it. Seems to have popped the bolt and washer off the top of the assembly it's attached to. Anyone else had that issue and know the fix? Sure wish these things came with a repair manual so you could see what things are supposed to look like BEFORE it breaks!

Ron & Patty,
Sorry to hear of your troubles with the lift. I just did a quick check of the Lippert website, they are the manufacturer of the lift system, but did not find any info. If you don't want to take it back to your dealer then I would suggest giving Lippert a call and they should be able to help you with a fix. Their phone number is: 574.535.2085 and their website address is: http://www.lci1.com/ I hope this helps.
Take care and travel safe,
Jack

I guess this is a dumb question but what remote and what button do you push to raise the TV by remote? I've always used the switch under the counter because the salesman didn't show me this during delivery.

Remember....there is no such thing as a dumb question, especially on this forum You should have a remote that looks like the one in this link: http://www.lci1.com/LIP/0128.pdf If you don't, your dealer should be able to get it for you. We mounted ours in an upper cabinet with velcro where we keep the remotes for the TV and DVD. It is more convenient in the upper cabinet than the switch in the lower one.

Thanks for the info on the Lippert website Jackel1959. We'll take a look to see what we can find. If the fix is an easy one, we'd rather do it ourselves as our dealer is 2 hours away and not really convenient but if it comes to that, we'll just make an appt for them to fix.
Clemson1881, hope you get your remote...it is easier than the switch in the lower cabinet. BTW...we're Tigers fans too...the property we purchased as our home base for the RV is in Westminster, SC!

Update on our TV issue...called Lippert today and they suggested we try resetting the receiver to see if the remote and receiver were out of sync causing the TV to overshoot the stopping point. Resetting the receiver resulted in the system to stop working altogether. Now the TV is down in the cabinet and won't raise up. The Lippert support team said if that didn't work, the receiver would have to be replaced. The saga continues.....

Good news. Lisa @ Lippert ordered a new receiver and remote and it should be in the mail to us shortly at no cost to us!! Yea. Since we are a week past the one year mark for the manufacturers warranty, wondered if they would honor. No problems with Lippert!

Good thing. Lippert doesn't want Tiger Nation on them!
