No Picture On Bedroom TV

The last five trips out we have used the satellite for TV. Tonight we are in a park that has cable so I hooked to it. All my hook ups are the same except I bypassed the dish reciever.
The problem is I have no picture in the bedroom but I do have sound.
The tv in the living room is working just fine.

Any ideas??

Thanks
Ray

Is your Antenna amplifier in the bedroom turned on?

Just a long shot here, but try changing out the bedroom coax cable that connects to your TV. The one that came with my unit wasn't even crimped and it was worthless. New WalMart 6 foot coax solved the problem.

Using coax or patch cords? Our bedroom TV has developed a bad female RCA plug, and we have to wiggle the cord to get video. Audio is fine. Does it have video on the antenna?

We are at a different campground tonight and all is fine. I'm guessing we must have had a very weak cable signal at the other campground and splitting it between two sets was too much.

Behind the living room tv should be a plate on the wall with two connectors. There should be a loop connecting both of those when not on satellite. That's required to send the signal to the bedroom tv. If no loop with your unit, use a coax cable with an adapter to get male on both ends. See "jumper" in this diagram.

The text is hard to read in this photo. What it says is "When satellite dish is in use remove jumper cable and connect satellite. Jumper cable only needed when cable is in use."
