Jim, all of those direct gauges I've tried or seen work off pressure. The pressure in the tank varies according to temperature. In the afternoon it would read higher than in the morning. When in direct sunlight it read higher than when in shade. Likewise, cold versus hot ambient temperatures. I could never rely on it. Is this one different?
