Just got my Kipor 3500Ti !!

I received my Kipor 3500Ti today that I had ordered just last Thursday. No dents or dings ... charged battery, added oil and gas, and it fired right up. Boy is it quiet! After a couple of hours of break-in, I hooked it up to my 2980RL and flipped on the A/C ... RPM picked up some, but the A/C kicked on compressor and all with the voltmeter in the camper holding steady at 121 volts. I have the Dometic high efficiency 15,000 btu unit. Added lights, fan, and TV with no problem from the Kipor. I installed the rubber feet instead of the wheels ... took off the gas cap, and with about 1/2" to spare, it fit through the door in the front cargo hold. It's a two person manuver, but for storage and transportation only, it's going to work for me. I wasn't too sold on the idea of hauling it around in the back of the truck. Now I just need to reconfigure the shelf and build a stable pad for it to set on in there. Other, posts are right ... with the doors and windows closed, you can just barely hear it running ... with the A/C on, you can't hear it at all. I am very pleased so far!

I am suddenly very strongly leaning toward getting one of these (3500ti) before our Montana leaves the dealership the end of May. Not sure what triggered that thought. I always knew I would get one eventually, and that it would be a Kippor3500. Just woke up one morning and decided I needed one now.

Wow, is that ever hard on my checkbook when I do that...

We got the same generator last month with the same results. If anyone is thinking of a generator you have got to look at the Kipor before you buy.Still don't know where we will put it in the 3400. We have the sliding tray in the front compartment and according to the measurement I took it will just fit..maybe...
