SOB Toilet leak

problem, hoping for some help. My daughter has a 294rlt 2014 crusader. Her toilet bowl is leaking between bowl and pedestal. Looks like someone previously tried to seal.its a dometic toilet don't know model number. After reading different posts online, seems we might need to replace toilet.Any help would be appreciated.

You can pull the toilet, take it apart to replace the seal at that joint...given that you can I'd the model number and the seal is still made...or...you can just pull it and replace with dometic 310 or 320 unit. Not a hard thing to do.

If it is like mine, you can just remove the metal band holding the top (bowl) to the bottom (pedestal) and the top part lifts off after disconnecting the water line. I replaced my flush ball rubber seal several years ago. But I don't remember if there was another seal between the top and bottom or not. Don't remember one. Not a difficult task to take it apart and see.

I agree if it is of the original SeaLand design. Hopefully Dometic didn't change it

You could replace the whole toilet quicker than repairing the old. The old toilet is still old when you are thru repairing it.
