Dick and Toni's National Park!

We arrived at Dick and Toni's place late yesterday afternoon. (Sept. 1)It has been a few years since we first visited them. Their place is even nicer than we remember! As we made our way up the last leg of the trip the further away we got from the main highway the quieter things got. No RR, no highways, no airports, you know.... All the things one normally associates with an RV park.

Things just sort of slow down and the quiet overtakes your senses. So nice. If you're ever up near the Canadian/US border near Deming, WA drop Dick and Toni a note. I'm sure you'd be more than welcome and I know you'd enjoy spending some time at their "National Park".

Buddy and Bandit enjoyed it so much they started play chasing each other. It is so relaxing to see dogs run just because it is fun! Imagine a couple of little Doxies bouncing up and down in the grass as they run to catch each other!

Thank you Dick and Toni for sharing your beautiful place.

Happy Trails to all, Dennis and Mary Kay and the "Boys". By the way Spike is at his new "forever" home. He officially belongs to our daughter. He and his soul mate... Daisy ... also a Chawenie get along fantastically. They are 'shadows' for each other. And now Spike has a large back yard full of bushes and trees and ground cover and all kinds of things to chew. He is going to be one very happy puppy!

Sounds like a great time, particularly for the pups. Enjoying great times and making great memories is what this lifestyle is all about. Way to go!

Be sure and make the trip up the Baker Hwy all the way to the end. It looks like we are following you around this area as we just left Anacortes this morning. I you get time when heading back south give a holler and will see if we could meet for coffee or something in Tumwater. There is a Walgreens right off the freeway that has eazy parking.

Larry,
We would love to make contact with you again but our route is east and then south. Catching the 90 / 82 east and south out of Seattle. Then we hit the 395 and head pretty much due south. Gonna stop down around Carson City, NV and visit some friends. Larry we really enjoyed meeting you and your lovely wife and hope we're able to break bread again soon. Thanks for the invitation and we'll be looking for you next time we get up this way to visit the kids. Get that knee fixed so you can RV for years to come! Happy Trails, Dennis and Mary Kay
