I do remember that. Does that make me older than dirt???? Red Skelton lived outside of Hemet (our home) in his later years. My Daughter was working at a local bank and he came in, what a wonderful guy was her comment.
Happy trails......................

that sure brings back good memories, I met red in Vegas in about 1963 and saw his paintings of clowns, he is a giant of a man over 6 ft. and a very nice man to talk with.

Thank you! I too remember Red Skeleton in Las Vegas in 1963, while I was stationed there in the air force. He spent much of his spare time visiting patients in the local hospitals. I have sent this to many others.

Don't you wish we could just broadcast that to everyone all over this country at the same time?

Too bad it's already been threatened to be removed from being recited in schools - without it, we would be just like most other Countries - without freedom to do what we want, express what we feel, and have a voice in who governs us as well as how they are to govern us. We may have our problems, but I wouldn't trade it for anywhere else!
(now I'll get down off my soapbox )

Looking at your picture trail and found your bike rack, very intresting. Is this something you fabricated or was it store bought.
Have you had any problems with it on the road, such as dips in the road or tight turns, can you carry two bikes?
Also enjoyed Red.
