Cummins air filter / intake mods

I am thinking about upgrading my air filter system on my 2004.5 Cummins HO (325hp) and wanted to get some other opinions about the different brands and actual power gains if any and ease of installation along with price range and suggestions for a place to buy from. Chime in and tell me what you can!!

I am also curious about fuel filter replacement frequency?

Bryan,
There is a lot of web sites out there than can help you. So do your homework and get the best for your situation. I had a 01 but upgraded to the 06 3500 DRW last month. I had all the goodies for the 01 2500.

Hope these sites help.

Good info for the Dodge: Turbo Diesel Register http://www.turbodieselregister.com/

I purchased from: Souce Automotive: http://www.sourceautomotive.biz/
I didn't know very much about diesels but he help out a lot. The local Cummins club led me to him.

I'm going to full time for a year down in El Paso, Texas. Should be HOT!

I haven't updated my picture yet to the new truck.

Mine is basically stock except that I swiss cheesed the bottom of the air box itself to get more air. Check http://www.dieseltruckresource.com/dev/index.php? and search for air box mods or swiss cheese and a bunch of stuff will come up. THe best thing I did to my truck 2005 2500 610 CTD was I installed a MBRP replacement muffler. HOLY COW! What a difference. Also, out on the link above there is a ton of infomration on the MBRP muffler.
