WELL, in My Opinion (which you could probably care less about) but I will spout it anyway, Here it is. "richfaa" mentioned that little 3 letter word "ERR". I just thank the good man upstairs that I had the louvered V tailgate a couple of times. It is just "CHOICE". If you don't have one, Have an ERRLESS Day.

Even with no increase in mileage or if there is a decrease, I like the ERRless part. No worry. I've already ruined one tailgate. Remember, it only takes once!

Installed the custom flow tailgate today..Here are my HONEST observations. They are not meant to talk anyone into or out of purchasing one. Your Choice. If you have a Fold-a-Cover or a roll up cover and you PRIMARY concern is SECURITY. You do not want one. I have the Fold-a-Cover. The V tailgate renders any security useless. It is now wide open due to the "V". If you have no cover of any kind then it is a moot point. The data supplied by Gelnn would indicate that the MPG would increase, In my opinion slightly because that is what the data indicated. If MPG was my PRIMARY concern I would not spend the money. If you think you just might attempt to drive the truck through the OEM tail gate it will be worth every penny. IMHO that is the PRIMARY and ONLY reason I would buy one..and I did. My opinion only....
