You have had more than your share of reefer problems. I have a 3400RL, an older one, but the transition is not too bad. Lowe's for us. a nice Black one that is a bit deeper and more storage space.

Ours went out first of Jan. I replaced with a 10.4 cu ft Kenmore from sears was a three inches taller and slightly wider. used my belt sander, took about three hours to install. DW likes the deeper area and the glass selves. Door is five inches thick so sticks out more than the dometic. It's black and the wood panels won't fit on it, but looks ok.

Does the house refer run on electric or gas? We have the double door Norcold model, is that the ones you both replaced?

I am not positive on the model number, I will try to find it.
Mine was a single door.
