Mixing Fluids in Level-Up System

I have a leak in my Level-Up system and need to add some fluid. The sheet from Lippert lists for above freezing temperatures, several options:

A. Dexron 3/Mercon ATF
B. Mercon 5 ATF
C. Dexron 6 ATF
D. PetroBlend (Mason City, IA) PHO 0022S (synthetic group 3 base blend)
E. Bellman all temp 22 (Bremen, IN)
F. Or any ATF or hydraulic fluid with a pour point lower than -42°C (-45°F).

Since I don't know what is currently in there, my question is, can you just add any of these on the list and be okay mixing two different ones?

Thanks a bunch!

By the way, here is the Lippert sheet in case anyone wants it:

Hi

A, B, and C will mix without any problem. D will not mix with A, B and C and I would avoid using it.

I am unfamiliar with the Bellman product and can’t seem to get any information on it; as long as it is not synthetic then it would be OK.

All of the petroleum base ATF and 10W hydraulic fluids start life as a MIL-5606 petroleum product and will mix without any problem.

Thanks Phil,

I would guess that from the factory, the system would be filled with A, B, or C probably - Does that sound right?

If you need to add fluid, you have other problems. Start looking for leaks! Also, consider using Lippert recommended Torco RFT if you are experiencing the "pops" some of us have reported hearing when the rig is setting still and nothing is going on.

If all you have is a slightly low level that needs a pint or so of fluid then just purchase the cheap Wal-Mart ATF.

If you are having the problem Tom S. is referring to then follow his instructions.
