dealer has given up Montana's

Bluenose RV which is a very good RV dealer in Nova Scotia has given up selling Montanas. Although they still sell keystone products and due good service work. They are not a large dealer and from what i understand keystone wnated them to take a number of Montanas and they did not wnat to take that many as it would be a lot of inventory to carry for the winter months.

Auto, boat, RV dealerships always under pressure to accept product. The dealer I bought my boat from sold multiple brands, but recently He was cut off by the manufacturer of my boat because he refused to accept more inventory.

Small dealers are having a hard time getting floor planning and if they get it then they have trouble getting financing for their customers. Double "Gotcha".

Business is business and both parties have to decide what's best for them. My guess is that over time both parties may want to backtrack and reestablish the relationship.

Looks to me like that the major players such as Camping World and others are cutting back on orders and the Manufactures are trying to bully the smaller dealers to pick up the slack. I don't think that a manufacturer would tell someone like Camping World or one of the other bigger dealers that they would be cut off.

The Dealer in Duluth is scaling way back on Montanas. He said Warren Buffet wants to dominate the Rv industries and they are cutting back the quality of their brands but putting a lot of bling into them to make them look good. He said he prefers the Montanas but price seems to dictate what sells .It's all about volume.
