Squeaky Wheels

We have a 2010, 3455SA with Mor/ryde suspension. We have put about 1000 miles on her, so far. Issue is that we are starting to hear steady squeaking coming from the wheels. Most noticeable when we drive through campgrounds (really embarrassing to have this big, beautiful Montana whining as we drive through!) But we hear it on the road when traveling next to something that will reflect the sound back as well.

Anybody have a similar experience? I checked the lug nuts 300 miles ago, they were all at 120 ft pounds,(none needed tightening). Dexter says to lube bearings at 12 mo/12,000 miles (even with the trip from Indiana to Calif where we bought it, we'd be far shy of this).

Thanks!

If it is fairly consistent in making the noise I would not ignore it. Just guessing, it might be a wheel bearing or a brake problem. A bearing may not have been lubed completely during assembly or a brake shoe may have slipped or lost a keeper. Need to at least get each wheel off the ground one at a time and see if you can replicate it by spinning the wheel and slowly applying the brake. If you are not comfortable doing this I would get it back to the dealer or at least a competent trailer shop. Ignoring it can be expensive and unsafe. Let us know what you find. Jim

Check to see if the dust cover is rubbing the brake drum. Next, it might be a spring hanger, I THINK if it was a wheel bearing, you would have found it by now.
