Vegas-Winter Wonderland

If you don't have enough snow back East you can visit Vegas. It has been snowing here all day. Our two cats still can't figure out what that white stuff is. So much for global warming.

Wow! That has to be nice. How about a picture or two?

And as far as global warming goes....well this is just the type of thing that happens. Unusual weather patterns. Wet where it is always dry. Dry where it is normally wet.

If you don't believe things have warmed up then just take a look at the comparison photos of the North Pole area. Only about half the ice pack is left! If things keep going at this rate there soon will be little or no permanent ice pack there! Regardless of WHAT is causing the warming.... It is a fact that things are warming up.

But.... anyway.. enjoy the novelty of snow in Vegas! Neat.

We live in southwestern PA. This past Saturday morning the temperature was 15 degrees. Sunday afternoon the sun came out and our truck thermometer registered 60 degrees!

Oh no! That happened to me years ago when they had a freeze that killed all the palm trees that had just been planted at the Mirage and broke fire protection sprinklers in our hotel causing water damage everywhere.
