Tampa RV Supershow - January 2007

I know that whats on everybodys mind right now is the Goshen Rally. Wished we could have been there this year. Since we winter in Florida, we were wondering who is planning on attending the Tampa RV Supershow on January 17-21, 2007. Since we don't have a home site and travel between Thousand Trails and Outdoor World campgrounds, we plan on attending and staying at the Florida State Fairgrounds during that time. It would be nice to visit other Montana owners while were there.

Many of us winter in FL and usually get together on a set day at the Tampa Supershow. I am sure there will be discussions on which day/time would be best for all of us to meet at the Montana exhibit. This has been a very successful MOC get together in the past and will be continued this year. We winter in the Orlando area (near the Thousand Trails Clermont or four corners area). We stay at the Encore Lake Magic on Hwy 92. Glenn usually heads up this discussion so am sure he will be jumping in here. Looking forward to seeing you at the Supershow.

You bet we will again have our annual Florida Mini Rally at the show in Tampa in January. Now when I say "MINI" I mean "MINI" as this is just a one day affair. How you get there and where you stay is entirely up to the individual members. Lorraine and I winter in Clearwater and we just drive over each day.
The date would be on the Friday of the show and we will all meet at the Montana/Mountaineer booth. Last year was OK but we were coming and going so much so that we couldn't get a sufficient number of members together to take a decnt photo. This January I would like to have the photo shoot around 2PM. This way some can come early and leave after the photos or vice versa.
Watch for upcoming info on the North American MOC / Florida Region Category sometime in October.

I'm thinking of coming up (all 50 miles) and staying at the show to experience the rally atmosphere. I sent an e-mail to FRVTA.ORG today to find out what the entertainment is for the show, but have not heard back.

Got some information on the entertainment at the Tampa Supershow this year. Here it is:

Thursday night is German night with Fritz and lots of humor and music, Friday night is the Harmonicats, a harmonic group that is incredible and Saturday night is Ron and Kay Rivoli with music, singing and humor.

This sounds like fun and not far from where we will be wintering at Lake Panasoffkee, FLA Maybe I can interest DH in driving over. We have a niece in Tampa and a nephew in Clearwater.
