I started a new thread for you. But in the future, to start one all you have to do is go to the appropriate sub-forum (Tow Vehicles in your case) and click on the "New Topic" button. Here is a picture of what to look for.

B&W hitch
I had a mooreride hitch on my last 5th wheel and truck. New 2018 Dodge with a 6'4" bed. Went with the B&W hitch with a slider. I don't have any trouble using the slider when I need it. The key thing is to keep everything greased. No sloppy play at all. Rides great. Mine is rated for 20,000 lbs. Don't need that much but is well built and very secure. My 5th wheel weighs 16,000 lbs fully loaded.

We have the Curt 20 and it works well for us. It's way ahead of the Reese with the pivoting head we had before it. The way the latch handle works, it is near impossible to hook up wrong or not have it latched right. The head pivots any direction on a large bearing on a large steel shaft, so hooking up on an uneven campsite is very do-able.

We have the Q24 mounted in the Ford OEM puck system. As noted, easy to hook and unhook RV in most conditions, and provides smooth ride. The Q24 also breaks down into 2 pieces which allows for easy removal from the truck when necessary. The entire Q24 weighs roughly 135 lbs., but pull 2 pins and the head can be dethatched from the hitch body which allows me to handle the removal by myself. Still a handful but doable.

We had a Curt 16k with the slide bar for a number of years, it finial gave up the ghost this past month .... We changed over to a B&W Companion 5th wheel hitch an really like it, no more chucking at all, it's so easy to hook an unhook it scares me ...

Both are good hitches. We have B&W and it's the best hitch we have ever had.

If I had to do it again I’d go back to a B&W. I really like my Pullrite slider, but B&W is solid built, made in the USA, great customer service, and the Companion is two pieces so that one man can handle it. Too many features to list. I like the turn over ball installation. Leaves the truck bed free of rails. But then again, these days folks have factory pucks. Good luck on decision.

Have had a B&W for 10 years, 50K plus miles and zero trouble. It was originally used with their turnover system but the head unit is now on the Ford pucks using a different base. Curt hitches seem solid according to other folks but I have no personal experience with them

I think what you are going to find is people recommend what they have. They bought it because they liked it. What you need to do is check both out and buy the one you like. I have a B&W but that doesn’t mean much and I would recommend it but please don’t take my word. Get the one you like.

One more of my 2 cents, I know B&W has height adjustments, many do not. It got me in a bind with my Pullrite. I’m not sure if Curt does or not. Something to look for.

I would be scared of complicated usage of a hitch.
below happened with curt hitch.
