Allow me to be the first...

I highly recommended Wellsley Island State Park in NY State. It may be under Alexandria Bay NY Or Clayton NY in TL. There is a full hook up area. The campground is located on the St. Lawrence Seaway. You can rent boats for fishing. There is a small campstore. Also, in Alexandria Bay you can visit Boldt Castle and take a cruise of the Thousand Islands. There is also a casino across the bridge in Canada (all I remember is turn left (west) and go about 10 miles). Be sure to visit Fineview or Fairview - small island town nearby. You can watch the LARGE tankers that travel the great lakes go through - great little pavilion in town. Cannot see them from the campground though they run the other channel. It is such a tranquil place. I want to think we had site 28 which was hugh.... check it out on Reserve America. The sites along the top tree line were nice... no one behind you. You won't be disappointed!

Happy Trails!
